how to make the best smoothie in the world!

ok, well, i was a t a friends house the other day and we decided to make smoothies. we didn't know if it would be the best thing since microwave popcorn, or if it would be completely and utterly disgusting. so we gave it a shot and hoped for the best. but in my mind i thought of the worst. on the contrary, it was actually pretty amazing. turns out, our hope had been right..and we sat down and enjoyed our amazingly delicious smoothie. I know what your thinking...pleeease give me the recipe....well today is your lucky day my friends. so here it is...

Whats you'll need:

1 banana

6 frozen strawberries

6 frozen blueberries

a small handful of crushed ice (for that cold crunchy taste)

and 1/2 cup of fruit juice (preferably all natural)

we used a fruit juice that had a full serving of fruits and vegetables (it was pretty good)

blend all that together and enjoy!!

Regina Spektacular

blueberry picking

so i took an excursion to a blueberry farm today (hence the name), and it was great. i frolicked through the entire field. although i did get a tummy ache from them because i probably ate 2 out of every 3 i picked. and that's the thing about blueberry farms.

they don't care how much you eat. its lovely.

4th, politics, and what not

ok, so yea. umm its now the 4th of July. just to let you know. aanndd i have no plans....not a single one. On the upside, i talked to a senator of my state who is running for lieutenant governor. and im gonna get involved in the campaign. kinda excited! and he's really siked about it too! what better to do hard things and even learn about politics the right way! i encourage all you readers to do the same! get involved. make a difference. one of my favorite sayings from teenpact is "People dont care how much you know until they know how much you care," and that pushes me to show the world that the "myth of adolescence" is simply just what it says...a myth. comment and tell me what you think.

ok i haven't written in a while..been kinda busy. so here's another poem i wrote...enjoy:)

Memory Lane

Today i took a stroll 
down old memory lane,
when i saw you standing there
in all your glorious fame.
with leaves falling all around you
and you all snuggled up and warm
you extended out your arms to me
but in your eyes i saw the storm.
when you whispered that you loved me
and then went and broke my heart
when you held me oh so gently
and then tore me all apart.
oh the days I poured my eyes out crying
and all the sleepless nights
but I can now say I'm finally over you
because i figured its not worth the fight
so now when i arise tomorrow
and start off a brand new day
I've decided not to go back down
that old memory lane.
